G-Forum Terms of Use

The Strategies and Tools against Social exclusion and Poverty (STEP) Programme of the International Labour Office provides the G-Forum on terms and conditions set forth in this document. By subscribing to a G-Forum discussion, users agree to these Terms of Use. Please read this document carefully before using the G-Forum.

Objective of the G-Forum
The G-Forum discussions are a place for experience exchange, information and knowledge on microinsurance and the extension of social security.

Access and registration to the G-Forum discussions
Only users registered to Gimi/Gess may subscribe to G-Forum and participate to the discussions (post and receive messages). However, the G-Forum archives are public.

The list of participants to the discussions and their personal profiles cannot be consulted by registered participants. Only the Gimi/Gess user name and the email address of the participants to a discussion are visible.

Moderation
The G-Forum discussions are moderated. The moderators reserve the right to edit or suppress any message for any reason whatsoever within a reasonable time frame. Participants will be informed on any change or decision concerning their messages.

The moderators will ensure that participants messages contribute to the discussion subjects and will organize messages to support coherent discussions.

The discussions will be multilingual. The moderator will not provide translation. However, participants are invited to include their translation (in English, French and/or Spanish) whenever possible.

Warranties and Disclaimers
The messages posted in the G-Forum express the views of the individual authors and not the views of the organizers. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact the moderator immediately by email.
